Ron works with top CEOs, founders and investors to maximize their performance. He uses his decades of business experience, coaching and advising to help his clients achieve their goals.

Ron doesn’t follow a script. He creates a safe space for clients to tell their story. He asks probing questions and gives direct and honest feedback. He focuses his clients on their most pressing challenges and clear out whatever is getting in their way.

Ron’s clients become more effective leaders by developing the skills they need to manage fast-growing, complex businesses. He pushes them to spend more time doing what they are great at and less time on work that is depleting. He advises clients on how to prioritize professional imperatives. He understands these struggles because he has been there himself.

Ron has had a successful career in business, government, and philanthropy. As a Goldman Sachs Partner, he built global, customer-driven businesses generating hundreds of millions of dollars of profits. He has also invested in more than 30 successful startups. He founded Peloton Partners, which managed $3B at its peak and was the top-performing hedge fund in Europe in 2007. Ron experienced failure in a large and public way when he was forced to liquidate his flagship fund at the onset of the 2008 financial crisis and write down $1B in losses. Ron faced the shame and self-doubt that comes from such an experience and navigated the difficult path back.

In government, Ron led the restructuring of the NYC school system, the largest in the country with one million students and a $14 billion budget. He also co-founded two innovative public school networks: Ark Schools in the UK and Caliber Schools in the Bay Area, which provide a free college-preparatory education for 35,000 students from underserved communities.

After spending his career informally advising clients, staff and founders, Ron decided to commit himself to coaching. Ron uses the successful tools he has developed over his career. He enjoys helping clients solve problems, is insatiably curious, and he loves the deep personal connection that comes from seeing clients shift and grow.

Ron lives in Aspen, Colorado. He is married with three children. He is a fanatical skier and loves just about all outdoor sports.
